In September 2023, we received an order from JAE Philippines, Inc. (JAE) for descaling and cleaning services for water-cooled air-conditioning units (condensers).
JAE manufactures connectors and wire harnesses primarily for automotive applications in the Province of Cavite, Philippines. In addition to air-cooled packaged air conditioners, there are approximately 20 water-cooled air-conditioning units installed at their molding production site, with regular maintenance performed on a yearly schedule.
If scale builds up on air conditioner condensers, it can lead to increased power consumption. By performing descaling, not only does the equipment’s performance improve, but it also helps achieve energy conservation.
Although descaling of condensers is generally performed using powerful chemicals, this method can cause significant damage to the condenser. It also poses risks to the cleaning personnel.
